I've used Iphotosync for a few days now and find it to be very useful.

I have 2 computers where photos could be added and one (a MINI running headless) that acts as an image server and storage device so keeping everything in sync has been a challenge.

I had some initial set-up issues - due to the unique way my system was set-up - but Stefan was extremely helpful with timely advice and suggestions. In fact due to his help my Iphoto system is running better than before.

The was one function that was not present in the version of Iphotosync I purchased (1.1.1) that would have been very useful to me - and probably others also - I emailed Stefan with the idea and within an hour there was an update to Iphotosync (1.1.2) posted which had the new function implemented - now that's service!!!

I highly recommend Iphotosync if you have multiple computers/Iphoto libraries that you need to maintain.

Great product and great service.

... glad you had better luck than me: I asked the developer to allow also picture's "title" synching but... never had a reply :-(

hope he keeps an eye on this thread ;-)

@pl_svn Sorry I didn't reply. I'm looking at syncing more metadata but I don't know if/when it will be added to iPhotoSync.

This application would become incredibly useful if it could offer Aperture photos for sync to iPhoto (1-way). Right now I have no reasonable way to share Aperture photos with the rest of the family.

I second the Aperture functionality. I use Aperture today, but my older libraries are in iPhoto, AND my wife's current library is in iPhoto. I would buy a couple licenses if it had this capability (working).
