Listen to over 390 radio stations on your Mac.

Developer website: Chiaro Software

FireRocker lets you listen to over 390 stations including ESPN, BBC, Virgin Radio, and many others on your Mac! You can also search and filter stations by genre. FireRocker lets you add more stations if you want to.

FireRocker can also record the audio that is being played. It will also insert metadata (A.K.A. song info) on the recording file. After it's recorded, you can edit it using a basic audio editor, play and edit metadata. FireRocker may also split the recording file if the metadata provided by the station changes.

You can create custom lists of stations. This way you can keep the stations you listen to on a list and the stations your children listen to on another list.

Don't stop doing what you're doing just because you need to control the app. FireRocker can optionally place an icon on the menu bar, so you can control the app without having to switch to FireRocker.

So you're listening to a song and you like it. So you decide to buy it on the iTunes Store. Don't waste your time searching for it! FireRocker can take you directly to the album page on the iTunes Store just by clicking on a button.

Say you were busy doing something. You listened to a song you loved. You usually would waste your precious time trying to remember the lyrics, so you may look for it. Not with FireRocker! It has a log of all tracks played. Double click on a song and FireRocker will take you to the iTunes Store if the song is available. You can also bookmark the track information, so you won't have to struggle on a big list to find the name of a song you like.
