Snipe eBay auctions.

It crashed the first two times I started so that was a poor start. It then hung while I tried to paste the address into it and I had to kill it. Again, not impressive. I managed to get it to work but it made about seven separate attempts to connect to the internet which I authorised in Little Snitch. What it didn't do was check in advance of the bid time whether it had a working connection so when I came back to my computer, it had not made the bid because it was blocked by Little Snitch and so I lost an auction that I otherwise would have won. Overall, decidedly disappointing.

I am a JoyBidder Pro user and I suddenly started losing auctions about a month ago. No bid placed. Worked great for years... time to find a new sniper.

You find another one that works? I emailed the company at Joy Bidder asking if there was an update that they were going to put out. I am also a Pro user and have been losing bids on auctions that I offered more on than it was won for.

I'm going to try Auction Sniper next. I really like JB Pro.

Ok, I just looked that one up. Charges 1% of every purchase. I wish there was another I could just pay for without ongoing fees. Yea I really liked JB Pro as well. I used to use JBidwatcher and that was good until they decided to stop updating it due to not making enough money.

Can't log into eBay because eBay now requires a Captcha from sniping apps. Captcha doesn't appear when logging into eBay directly. Until this is fixed, JoyBidder is useless.

This is unreliable. I've used it several times and lost two auctions when it failed to bid at the appointed time.

Very easy to use and free! I rated features to 3, because it only allows one snipe at one time. Pro version can snipe multiple auctions, but it costs $10!

Was the name deliberately chosen to be confused with jBidWatcher? http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/9068/jbidwatcher
