The latest version contains the ability to submit your conversion log to help with files that aren't converting properly. After attempting to convert a file, click "Help" on UltiConvert's window and send the conversion log if possible.

Hopefully I can get these issues fixed up!

This is a very handy program, and it works as advertised. In future updates I would find it useful to be able to convert MTS video, but for now, I will use this program often. Thank you.

Thanks for the response! If possible, after converting an MTS video that fails, click "Help" in the latest version and check the box that says "Send Conversion Log." This should assist me in fixing issues with MTS video formats! Thanks!

Wondering if it utilizes Turbo.264 if available. Really speeds up the conversion process! If not, please consider it.

Thanks for the concern. UltiConvert does not currently use Turbo.264. I will definitely be considering it! Thanks for the tip!

If the developer can't be bothered with a screenshot bigger than the thumbnail they're probably not bothered much at all. Does it convert Flash?

The screenshot was added by MacUpdate from Apples website. When I get to my computer, I will post a larger image.

The program is lacking in features such as a progress bar which has been added in the latest build. Thanks for your interest.

Why is it checking for updates at all times. Do we have a choice? It makes me leery to even install this at the moment.

Thanks for the tip. I will add this in the next build so that other users may enjoy the added convenience of being able to disable updates.

The updates check is done, but does not disrupt you until you manually check for updates. It does however add a small line of text at the bottom informing you of the latest available version. You must manually choose to visit the download page.

Keep in mind this is still beta software.

To convert from a Videotype MTS to MP4 I got no result. There was only created a date with 0 KB.

Thanks for choosing UltiConvert.

Unfortunately, UltiConvert does NOT support HD formats at this time. While some formats in HD will be accepted and converted, the output file will most certainly not be anything above 480p.

I strongly encourage you to see Handbrake for a video converter that can handle HD video.

Thanks again for your concern

Upon further review, MTS is a format by Sony which I have not added support for. This will be available in the next version of UltiConvert.

Thanks for the bug report!
