I agree with others who really like this simple editor. It would be nice if I could change which tags are in the toolbar, but I get used to keyboard shortcuts quickly. Thanks for making this available!

Nice. Simple, clean, easy, uncluttered, functional, and FREE! Thanks!

The only additions I'd request would be access to header info being this easy, and a simple CSS editor, so I can apply those styles here easily.

It doesn't 'phone' home - it only checks for new updates.

Funny of what people with installed LittleSnitch are scared of…

Hmm... why not ask like other apps?

"Check automatically for updates?" -> YES or NO

If an app tries to get online without permission or asking - shure, I ask why. Isn't that normal?

I absolutely love this HTML app — I write simple, flat pages, and this is the only coding app available that isn't so choked to the gills with 'features' that I don't give up trying to navigate its specialized menus/keyboard shortcuts/proprietary file formats in three minutes. On the other hand, it offers lots of handy shortcuts for the most basic tags, saving me unnecessary, repetitive keystrokes. Also, it doesn't try to upload every document I edit to my server with its stupid built-in FTP browser, which is a nice change of pace. HTMchen does only what I need it to do, and it performs perfectly. I would really like it if I could select the declaration code at the beginning of an HTML document from a menu or something (I tend to leave stuff out, writing it by hand, or mix up the correct XHTML 1.0/1.1 tags), and "night-view" code coloring might be nice, but even if it's never updated again it's staying in my dock. Also, it's free! Yay.
