Coincidentally, I was searching last night to see if an update had been released to address the DST issue. It seems you acted relatively quickly :) When should we expect a universal binary?

Fayyaz, did you change the settings for solar declination for your latitude? that would be why your fajr and maghrib are out. Change this and I'm pretty sure you'll be happy.

This is a very good prayer reminder and is a whole lot more useful for more than just RamaDaan. Everything you wish to change can be found in the Preferences... wa3laykum asSalaam

i tried using the macqibla to help me during ramadhan but the local time and the time on macqibla for FAJR and MAGHRIB varied, which is a very big mistake if you are fasting. please check. The time on my mac is perfect.

If you're Muslim and a Mac user, this application is a must-have. It was the only thing missing after making my switch from Windows/Linux over two years ago. Light-weight and simple. Like another reviewer, I have MacQibla in my start-up items. However, I hope in the future that instead of leaving the app open all the time, it could be optionally merged into the menu bar, displaying either or both the time remaining until the next prayer, or just the next prayer time.

Still love this app and have it launch as soon as I log in to OS X, alhamduliLah! ONE suggestion: perhaps allow the user to set a timeframe (ie; 5 minutes) to play an optional iqaama for salaat.

Excellent tool, very well done, stable. Includes many features. For those who are curious to know more on it, you might be interested to read the interview which I did with the developer: "Religion and technology: MacQibla, a prayer time calculator for Muslims" - http://religion.info/english/interviews/article_43.shtml

No biggie at all; the "About MacQiblaâ„¢ 3.0..." shows 3.0.1, Finder shows 3.0.2 correctly, though...
