You can have some fun playing with it. What bothers me is that all notes are of equal length, so you actually cannot reproduce any familiar melody.

It works on 10.5.8. Also, 10.6 isn't for PPC which is what I have.

Funny, Author says: "FingersTune is a musical instrument very simple in use. It's inspired by such interesting applications like Smule's Ocarina, Leaf Trombone, iTopchiyev's Ocarina Pitcher, Apple's iTunes and many other nice products". And really FingersTune looks similar to all this applications.

I'm using the app with Smule Ocarina. And I'm gonna buy the iPhone version of FingersTune too. But I'd like to be able to set length for notes. Coz it's hard a bit to learn a melody if you've never heard it before.

I like the idea. I'll buy the full iPhone version. It looks like Smule Ocarina. Actually I currently use the FingersTune for Mac as an editor for Smule Ocarina.

Hi. I'm the author of FingersTune. I thought about note length. In the next version I'll add the feature. It will work in such way: 1. When you add a new note it will be equal to 3/4 note. 2. Then you select the note you can set manually it's length. 3. You will be able to select one of these lengths from a drop-down menu: 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4. Thanks for idea. Be active on FingersTune.com. Post your melodies. Download & Discuss others. And you'll get a free redeem code for Full iPhone version.
