Don't waste your money. Spend it on Ted Landau's book: "Sad Macs, Bombs,..." the 4th edition has been released.

This thing is total garbage. It's ugly and just a repackaging of information that is free. Nobody cares if you stop making applications for the Mac, especially when you're blaming everybody but yourself for lack of sales. Do the entire Mac community a big favor and pound sand. I give Black & Bleu two thumbs down. I hope nobody is stupid enough to actually pay money for this piece of crap app.

Sounds more like everyone has the internet now, and can just use Apple's wonderful knowledge base to lookup codes... Hehe, "Shrinking number of Mac users." More like shrinking number of old world Mac users.... It seems from what I've read, that the Mac market share is expanding VERY rapidly...

Suckers! "The shrinking number of Mac users, the increasing reluctance of those users left to actually pay for software products and the apparently significant number of thieves willing to steal rather than pay at all coupled with Apple's seeming lack of concern about compatibility across its product versions and the alarming problem with its software quality (over 100,000 new bugs reported during the months of October & November, 2004 alone) has combined to render Mac OS software development unprofitable for us." ... That's it! Blame everebody except yourself for your failure.

Black & Bleu 7.0 is now OS X native, but the one application is also PowerPC native and also 68k native. Now, thats a trick no else has pulled off before, that I have heard of. Yes, no CarbonLib file is needed. Oh, and upgrades are $19.00 and up---not $29.00 as listed here. I've been a beta tester for some versions of B&B.

You might wake up and realize that the price of this software is 29 US dollars, just as it is listed here. Upgrade pricing is another thing altogether.

As everyone knows, the arcane Apple Error Codes are a continuing source of annoyance and uselessness to anyone ever unlucky enough to encounter them. Even manuals which purport to explain them are not comprehensive or universally helpful. B & B 4.0 offers quite a nice solution to this problem by providing not only details to the many thousands of codes, but offering helpful suggestions on how to recover from each error. I found the explanation/solution to a simple printing problem to be worth the price. For system professionals, the price is probably acceptable. For the more casual Mac user, it may be a little steep for what the program does.

This is a very good database of knowledge ...and very well organized. It has helped me more than any other tool I've used, to understand *and fix!* my Mac's problems.

Got my first demo from MacAddict Magazine. Demo expired before I could make my purchase. Won't let that happen again! I'll be making my purchase as soon as I install the program. The Black & Bleu is a must have.........
