The sliders at the audio panel are broken. Where should be the 3 vertical lines of the sliders, there are just the 3 round dots. They don't move at all. Other buttons don't show if pressed or not. I'm using Mac OS 10.14.6 in Dark Mode. I hope someone can fix it. This software is very nice and deserves to work right.

This is incredibly high quality subtitling software, and completely free. It's a real shame MacUpdate appears to be censoring it: https://twitter.com/taoeffect/status/716726033156677633

3.1.0 is out. Unfortunately, they dropped 10.6 support, very sad. Brillant app, however, I use 3.0.4.

Version 3.0 has been released, and Aegisub has apparently been largely rewritten. The changelog claims that the Mac version should now be somewhat usable (less crashes?) and follow the Apple HiG a bit more.

First, it would be glorious to get a working version of this up and running for the Macintosh, especially usable by those who haven't bought the newest most expensive Macs. Bad news, it's up, but not running. Though I couldn't get it to crash, it wouldn't do anything to make it usable. Primarily, it wouldn't even load any SSA or A$$ files, even those created by the Windows version of itself. Therefore, a major failing that makes this unusable at the moment. Many people have complained about the icons. Yes, they are ugly, but if this would actually work and be stable, I could care less about the icons... cosmetics should be dealt with AFTER stability. Keep working on it. Hope to see a greatly improved version soon. Sorry about the "$"s, but apparently somebody needs to go back and fix their PROFANITY filter.

It crashes... It crashes... It crashes... I cannot even take a good look at the opening window - it crashes! I downloaded latest version (Intel). Maybe it is not for Snow Leopard!
