Wow, already a pay version of what you can get for free from WineBottler?

Had an issue with this when trying to run a windows file and received the following message - "cannot find .NET Framework". Tries to run the program and then falls over sadly,
Got the same problem as below, the application crashes immediately upon launch. However I do have x11 installed. In fact, I was able to launch freeciv (which uses x11) without any issues.
So what's up? I'm seriously considering purchasing this software if it does what it's supposed to do.
The program opens, but it will not read any .exe files. Keep getting an error message telling me that "the program is unable to unpack this file". Any suggestions?
I really this software.
BUT
The copy and paste still does not work and with v0.8 neither does any of the COMMAND key menu commands now too once you open a windows program. The all just beep and nothing more.
Please fix this already. I have been patiently waiting to purchase this but I will not until the copy and paste commands work. Disabling the command key menu commands after opening a program is a step backwards too!
Thank you for the great program but please fix it it already!
Macindows 0.5, trying it make IE7 work. Responds with
"Extraction failed: Unable to find a volume for file extraction. Please to verify that you have proper permissions"
Snow Leopard 10.6.2. MacBookPro
Positively impressed by this product.
Although no installed applications ever shows in the "Programs" menu, Macindows is a convenient way of running Windows applications on my Mac.
Thanks and keep up the good work :)
Superb product. It isn't a substitute for the big boys in emulator software that need and use windows but this software has niche market for those of us that hate windows and just need something to run the odd exe file without the bloat.
Thanks for the quick fix and a great start with Macindows!
Very impressive. I tried Macindows with a few small games and some other stuff and it performed quite well. This small foot-print program easily has a niche market for those of us that hate Windows and would prefer not to pay the higher prices for VMWare Fusion , CrossOver or Parallels Desktop.
I do have a few suggestions.
- A proper copy and paste menu with keyboard shortcuts like the normal one we see in all Mac native applications. I was unable to copy or paste any text from within Macindows. I even tried the copy command from it's menu and the keyboard shortcuts.
- A warning for nOObs in the system requirements they need to have X11 installed from their Mac OS X installer DVD
Great job, looking forward to what's to come with this very handy program.
"Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" when I try to download the demo.
I think the developer may want to find another site to host the download from to avoid this in the future.
