It's understandable they ripped of Boswars, the rest of the Jalada back catalogue is unspeakable dross

This would appear to be, at the very least, blatant, outright theft. The screenshot is the exact same as BosWars, the only changes being the image is zoomed out and reversed. The filesize is approximately 8mb in difference. How is this possible without at least some sort of recrimination while MacUpdate looks at this?

Without downloading this and using it i would say that it is just a repackaged, renamed rip off of the open source and freely available Boswars.

See www.boswars.org

I may post my latest Mac OS X build of Boswars 2.6 which you can have WITHOUT paying for it.

Actually, it looks like he (or someone on the team) did post an OS X build of boswars. See http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/33938/bos-wars

Might be nice if you at least acknowledged E.E. "Doc" Smith's Lensman stories as inspiration for the names you use in the game.

I completely agree with you on this. Moreover EE Smiths material is still copyrighted by his heirs. I sure hope the developer of this has obtained proper licenses to use it as I know how to contact his heirs I a feel a moral obligation to let them know as to the existence of this product to insure that EE Smith gets the credit and recognition that he deserves for the creation of the Lensman series that this is based on.

FYI: It may be coincidence but much of the concept and stories contained in Star Wars seems to closely parallel the Lensman series abet the names have been changed.

For SciFi space opera fans, the Lensman series is a must read.
