Missing Sync for Android

I haven't tried this, but it's quite surprising to see a 2.0.1 nearly 7 years after 2.0... :-o And the bad comments here, together with the price, are not encouraging.

This is conware. Costs a lot, never worked well anyway, and the last update breaks the final part of the software that was functioning (contacts; calendar wasn't working anyway). Piece of crap, stay away.

2.0 is a solid update with a new feature.

This company is completely useless. They don't really have a clue about how to treat customers well. And the software is marginal at best. Forget about any customer service.

good software with nice features if it would work! I've lost so much time trying to make this software to work - if it does it is worth the price but benefit with the time I had to spend in it make it work is VERY low!

Thank goodness for this update. It has made my syncing experience seamless to transfer contacts/calendar and more from my new Droid X to my iMac. This application has worked for me and has been reliable through out all my syncs. I have imported data from different application for contacts and Missing Sync handled it well. Good Job mark/space and missing sync!!!!!

I have given up on using this software. Missing Sync for Palm used to work better than this. Maybe it's google's requirements, who knows, but this simply does not work. I've tried SyncMate, which is somewhat better, but gave up on that, too. Just give in and sync with google in the cloud. In the long run (and short run) it's just easier and more reliable. Get a google email address, even if you don't plan on using it. And if you don't, why did you buy an android phone, anyway? Best of all, it's all free. Contacts: there is a preference setting in Address Book to sync to google (and yahoo). You may have to do recursive syncs and merge contacts a couple of times to make them them same. Be sure to back up your contacts first. Calendar: ditto. Back up your calendar! Sync TO goggle calendars and then subscribe in your android system. You'll have an iCal copy and google copy, so configuring it is kind of a pain. But when you do it once and have it right, you don't have to mess with it any more and it syncs without intervention on your part. Files: dropbox, dropbox, dropbox.

I have been using this for a while to sync my nexus s, and Samsung galaxy 19000 and via wireless and bluetooth it works pretty well, over USB never got it to work.. Dev. is not very nice, a little attitude. Not very nice when you have a problem, but the app works ok for me.. Stupid website, a mess, hard to find the trail version of this app. but if you buy it and use one of the tel. I have listed above, it works with out issues..

If you want to get mentally raped then use this. I agree, it is the worst software on macupdate. Customer support is probably some deaf old dear chained up in a leaky outhouse in the middle nowhere.

This is simply the worst software available on MacUpdate and will mess you up more than an unpaid loan shark or payday loan center. It rendered my MacBook unstable and caused a Kernel Panic when I manually connected the phone to the 'book. Customer service is non-existent and they won't respond to you unless you plunk down some serious extra $$$. It won't sync the calendar. It syncs contacts but then doubles them and makes a mess out of both address books. Basically, I wish I had just followed the recipe on Google's website or at about.com, it would have been a lot less trouble in the long run and FREE.

er.. I just got an HTC Desire... was unable to setup my own iSync plugin.. so I found this.. and it works.. quite well.. not sure what others' issues were.. maybe the previous versions were buggy ?? I wouldn't know.. this works flawlessly for me (I have 100's of contacts in my AddressBook .. And several calendars.. I just find this about $10-15 "too expensive" then again it is important for me to have my data synched... so I will most likely pay for it.. I'll test it a little more.. But so far so good !!!

Also, the uninstaller does not remove everything. It leaves Preferences, Application Support files and several other files that need to be weeded out, as well as a restart or two, before Mr. Jiggles stops doing its thing. My system is a 2.8 GHz Core 2 Duo MBP, running OS 10.5.8 with 4 gigs of RAM.

Version 1.10 still does the whole jiggle phenomena. It seems that the amount of jiggle is directly proportionate to the amount of scroll bar that is showing in a window. To see this in action, goto... http://70.91.193.189/jiggles.3gp

This is a horrible version of the software. Once installed, your screen goes whacko and the contents of windows literally start to "jiggle", The Finder/cursor becomes very unresponsive. Uninstalling the software returns your machine back to normal. Nice try Mark/Space, but this software should still be in Beta phase. It is not ready to be released to the public.
