iAdjust Audio: Allows you to adjust the main volume in smaller increments than the standard 16 moves via the keyboard. Because of variations in operating systems, these scripts will give you between 44 and 48 increments.

Leopard and Snow Leopard users can hold down the Option and Shift keys while pressing either volume key to get very small increments (64). I find this awkward as it requires both hands.

Of course, if you're satisfied with using the keyboard or moving a slider, there is no reason for you to download these two scripts.

Why would anyone need this tool, at least in Snow Leopard? The OS includes this features using keyboard short cuts. Just click alt-shift-Volume key to change the volume in smaller increments, Voila.

Because it takes two hands?

Anyone using this?
I did download it and two apps appear; an up volume and a down volume. I put them in my app. folder, but don't understand how to get them to function.
The description implies that one would not have use a slider or the keyboard volume function keys to adjust the volume, but if I try launching these apps. they immediately close.
Just how does one adjust the volume?

Thanks.....

OK.... with this update, I tried again.... this is a script, so just put it in the app. folder and press the volume keys on your keyboard.... the volume adjusts in smaller incrememnts, with one hand... just as advertized... Voila!
Simple, free and effective...
