Overview

piQtility, a smart photo management tool, especially for anyone dealing with web content. If you are looking for a tool that allows you to easily repeat certain photo manipulations, such as: resize, crop, apply effects, this should be a tool to consider.

BE ADVISED: Currently (5 August 2019) the disk image for piQtility 6.5.0, linked at the top of this page, is damaged or corrupted in some way. I tried mounting it twice, and both times it caused a kernel panic then force-rebooted my iMac. I am running the most recent macOS (Mojave, 10.14.5). I would avoid downloading the .dmg file until the company has had a chance to fix whatever's gone sideways and to announce that it has done so.

After many reboots, disk image renamings and re-downloadings, mounting the original .dmg eventually caused a 0xe00002c9 error. Following some Internet research, I believe the problem was an incomplete or damaged download, rather than a problem with the disk image itself. Please excuse and disregard the false alarm—all is well. Kudos also to the MoonApp support team, who promptly followed up and set me on the path to sorting the problem.

Bought it as part of a bundle 9 months ago. Like Bpoidevin, it would not register --- I tossed it. Today, caught by my Junk Mail filter, was an "Oopsie" message from the developer with info regarding 6.1 and the fix for the registration. The layout in the email matches the registration form (caveat -- no labels for the not-obvious: the transaction number is under my email. -- the serial number is under that. Copy paste! Frankly, I do not know when I will actually give the program a try (initial excitement/ enthusiasm has faded over time -- and "what does it do?" has been long forgotten--?

One of the apps everybody needs some time: convert pics into different formats, add a filter or a watermark etc. Works great for me with Sierra. And the devs are always responsive.

I have downloaded this app for later use. I just want to thank the developer for coming up with a way to sort out my photos in iphoto. I have trouble understanding the library system, so this should help a great deal. Once I try it out, I'll be happy to contribute!
