Mount cloud storage as a local device.

WebDrive overview

WebDrive's instantly familiar interface lets you fluently work with cloud storage, local files, and files on remote servers through one common access point. Use WebDrive instead of the traditional FTP client, WebDAV, or SFTP client to reduce the steps of updating remote content.

Connect to popular cloud storage servers through the convenience of a mounted volume in Finder and work with files on OneDrive, Box.Net, Google Drive, DropBox, Amazon S3 and others just like local files on your Mac. It’s like having the cloud on a USB drive.

Excellent tech support when I had an issue with Dropbox's security. Tech support worked with me in dealing with my issue. Highly engaged and dedicated staff, their efforts and support can't be greater. Ease of use of software, loading up your cloud storage as Remote Drives to provide Finder access without dedicated Dropbox/Google/Box/etc applications and daemons etc very welcome. Recommended if you are looking for such a client software application for your Mac.

I tried ExpanDrive, CloudMounter and WebDrive and WebDrive seems to work the best with the least number of problems. I'm using Dropbox as an external drive. Upload process is slow but downloading is relatively quick. It's been very stable so far.

Is WebDrive enables to: (1) unlink my computer from DropBox (2) remove my local DropBox folder from my computer (3) use the DropBox folder as an external drive whenever I do wish to upload a file ? The reason I'm looking for this solution is the DropBox shared folders that allow other people to modify my DropBox account and consequently folders and files on my own computer. This is annoying ! Using DropBox through their Web site is annoying too.

3.20.388? What is it with devs who hold strong to a certain release level but increment the point-point releases into the stratosphere? Point-Point 388? Come on, just release 3.21 (or even better, 4.0) and keep your build numbers hidden. FWIW, I'm running Mac OS X 10.9.13A603 this afternoon.

A WebDAV client is already integrated in the Mac Finder thus you do not need any additional software when connecting to a WebDAV server. The Mac Finder can connect to any WebDAV server. Here is an easy to use WebDAV server that can be used with the Mac Finder: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/21759/barracudadrive

I installed Webdrive on a MBP running OS 10.5.7. When double-clicked to launch, the app comes up in the Dock and immediately disappears.

I'm running SL 10.6.1 on a Mac Mini 2.26. I tried this and after setting up my FTP site on a web drive, I selected "mount" from the options and got a message "successfully mounted." However, that was the dying gasp of my system as the entire Mac froze. No Finder, no Safari, couldn't force quit, nothing except to hold the power button in for several seconds. Tried again, same result. I went and downloaded the free AutomountMaker, and it does indeed work fine in SL. Easy to set up, no need for the app to run (Webdrive requires you to select a drive from within the app), it just creates a script that mounts the drive. I've got the script in my Finder side bar and clicking simply mounts my remote servers. Slicker than ice in the Antarctic. Aside: My only gripe about AutomountMaker is that it always comes up in icon mode rather than list mode but that's a real small nitpick.

After the installation I have 0 days of evaluation remaining. All site manager buttons except "buy it..." are greyed out. This is a 4 week old iMac (running SL) and I'm positive that this app has never been installed on this machine before. it's hard to evaluate something that doesn't let you use it. Am I missing something?
