It seems like a fine converter, but the UI is quite messy.
1: I don't like the PC/DOS-like BEEPs.
2: I don't like that after a conversion, the source-directory changes to some strange location; it should stay at the path I've chosen.
3: I don't like that the files are not placed in a consistent way, if using different conversion options.
I do like, however, that one can select which piece of video that should be converted, so that those 10 seconds of trial are actually useful.

I deeply regret buying this application bc it is completely unusable due to constant crashes (snowleopard?) AND there is no support whatsoeverfrom the developers. And for what it delivers - nothing - iverio is very, very expensive..beware and test, test, test befor you pay for iverio..! and write to support! do they exist at all?

Open the package and meet an army of open-source command-line tools that this app uses.

This is an absolutely CRIMINAL amount of money for what is essentially a file renamer and MPEG-2 playback component.

All the file types mentioned as being handled by iVerio are just rebranded MPEG files.

The (FREE) MPEG Streamclip can handle these files exactly the same way as iVerio (and more, actually), requiring only that you purchase the $30 MPEG-2 Playback Component from Apple.

There, I just saved you $42. You're welcome.

Looks promising. I was able to convert one video clip in the demo mode. After that, it keeps crashing when trying to convert.
