Just a note for anyone that bought this Mac Upromo back in January,2010. The new version (NOT MORE THAN 2 MONTHS LATER)is now 2.x, and I had to pay an UPGRADE fee of $9.95(with state tax no less), even though I bought 3D Image Commander only 2 months earlier! I did register a complaint. His response was that I did not purchase an option for the upgrade when I bought the UPromo (which was out only two months earlier). I'm sorry, I find this a deceptive practice. If the author KNEW that he had 2.x on the horizon, he should have given the upgrade for free. Instead, I paid $14.95 PLUS $10 upgrade fee, which almost equals their regular price of $29.95. Oops, don't forget state tax. Unconscionable! Buyer beware!

Is there any upgrade pricing for this? I have v1.80, and have sent 3 emails to support@binerus.com over a 3 month period to find out, but have had no response. I saw the other note about having to upgrade just after a promo, but I have found no information myself on how to do so. In my case, my purchase was well before the latest release. I would like to get the transparent background feature in v2.2, but am loathe to pay full price just to get this feature.

This software did exactly what I needed to do to my images. It is simple to use and the results are good.

yeah, the 3D now is very popular with the Avatar's released. well this software looks not bad! It may be image lovers's pet, here I'd like to add another software for 3D image, which named "3D Flash Gallery", it can turn your photos into stunning 3D flash photo galleries with full of interactivity and fun. No Flash skills needed, go to there for more details: http://www.aneesoft.com/win-3d-flash-gallery.html

This product launches and works on my intel iMac 3.06, except for some lethargy in the sliders. The program is elegant visually and does something I've never seen anything else do, namely, to allow convex-concave warping of file thumbnails while adding effects like shadows and reflections to them. The results are fairly impressive as well. Unfortunately, after creating two file thumbnail images with Image Commander the novelty wore off, and the program doesn't do much else. Which, in the end, makes the name "Image Commander" seem a bit expansive, like the psyche of a young boy who's just received his first kiss.
