when lion came out, the app kinda stopped working. not too long after, the developers got everything sorted out.

this app is not perfect, but for the current price of $10, it is definitely worth it. it is far more useful than Apple's horrible and practically useless iTunes connect graphs. compared to this app's competition, this is the cleanest view of the information.

is it totally accurate? no. but, if you just want to simply track relative performance, well... there isn't anything else more simple. and, anytime i have emailed the developer, they usually reply quite quickly. even once, when i just got an update that caused a problem, the fixed the problem and made a new update within an hour. so, not bad!

I have used Prismo for 2 years now. But I have to say this new 1.4 release is totally unusable.
As I have all my reports for 4 apps for last 2 years when I start the application it takes ages to load. Also if I change the view from Details to Graph I have to wait for more then a minute for app to calculate the graphs. Same is if I change from daily to monist …
Second application does not calculate revenues correctly. Apple aligned the prices across multiple stores around the world and proceedings to developers are not the same in all stores. This is not like it used to be before. This means if you sell 100 apps in UK and Switzerland you will not earn same amount on money as proceeds to developer in UK is not the same as in Swiss app store.
What Prismo has to do is to collect total for proceeds from each store which contributed in report and convert each of them to currency you selected in app. Then have sum of them and shops that as your revenue per day.

What I have checked is I downloaded trials AppViz 2 and App Start and downloaded same reports as I used in Prismo. I must say AppViz 2 and App Star showed same revenue for each day in last month but Prismo showed bigger values. So who is right in calculation Prismo or those two other apps. As you will see I tried and calculated reports my self manually and got same figures as App Viz 2 and App Start which proves me that Prismo doe snot do it job correctly. Second AppViz 2 and App Start are way faster. I downloaded in all three of them all m,y reports for last 2+ years for 4 apps. Prismo is working so slaw which tells me that design of that app is sluggish and parser for reports is bad as AppViz 2 and AppStart worked multiple times faster then Prismo.

Example:
So try to convert each store Your proceeds to pounds and you will see then that Your proceeds converted to same currency is not the same in each store.
(apple has table for each tier if you log to your iTunes connect and check tier tables)

So Your proceeds for (Tier 2)
- European Union is EUR 0.97 and if you convert that to GBP it is £0.85
- USA is $1.40 and if you convert that to GBP it is £0.87
- Switzerland is Fr 1.30 and if you convert that to GBP it is £1.01
- Australia is $1.27 and if you convert that to GBP it is £0.84
- UK is £0.91.

But if you set in Prismo to use GBP as your currency Prismo will always calculate proceeds as £0.91. So if you sell 10 apps the revenue will be 9.1 in Prismo not taking in account in which stores the app was sold (it would calculate revenue for the day as all apps were sold in UK AppStore). If you use AppViz 2 for instance you will have correct report for each day and revenue would be correct as well.
I had many conversation with developer about this and I explained to him that his revenue is not correctly calculated but it looks like I am talking to the wall as he simply does not understand what I am talking about. I do not have any patients for this software any more so I am going to talk about this on all forums and start using AppViz 2 as that is right tool.

i tried all the other (2?) app store sales trackers, and i liked this one's very clean UI and easy to understand info. however, since lion came out, it stopped working. over 2 weeks later, a "beta" came out. but, it constantly crashes. also, since the app store only keeps daily reports for 2 weeks, i now have a big gap that i can't fill in.

hope they get it right, but i might have already switched to another app by then. the other one i am trailing now is flawless on lion from day 1. oh well.

It seems Prismo no longer works with the App store, their blog no longer exists and the website for Prismo seems somewhat broken. Can we assume this app is no longer supported?

1.4 update is out (why does it say 2.0 here?). seems to work better but.... oh, a bunch of graphs are missing, nothing on the left is selectable, and it keeps re-downloading the same reports. would change it to a 1 if i could.

Why is this software posted almost every day with a new update where there is no real update?

Well... as of this date, I'm not so sure those negative comments continue to apply. I've been using the current version for a while now, and it

1) works as advertised.
2) hasn't crashed yet.
3) the developer is responsive.

Honestly, my only ding is that it's a bit expensive.

It's too bad the developer chose to dump paying customers and change the system requirements so they cannot use it any longer.

This tells me that either the developer doesn't care about his customers or lacks the skill to keep his software universal.

Shame.

For the comments I see I will pass on this one. I have been using App Store Expense Monitor, found at http://wetfish.de/

Not only is it free but it shows all my apps and the total cost of all my apps. Even if App Store Expense Monitor was not Free, I would purchase it. Never crashed and updates automatically each time I buy a new program.

Maybe I'm don't know how to add an app, but I thought setting the Apple ID in the preferences did it. This made Apple disable my Apple ID "due to security reasons". I don't know what the app is trying to do, but it didn't find my iPhone app and all the dates where set to 1970. Lack of documentation isn't helpful either.

I have purchased the current version of AppStore Sales. Sadly, there appears to be a problem in that the report dates appear fixed at 1/01/1970, cannot be altered and not unsurprisingly yield no sales data.

I have written two support requests and placed a Blog on the developer's site, but have uet to even receive an automated :we have your request", message.

I will update if & when I here from the Russian developer.
