The program seems to no longer be available. I had to grab it from here:

Great idea! Would be even greater if we could send images to other networks. Is there any chance? I noticed that coverflow gets a little confused when the screensaver kicks in - otherwise works great.

Hi,
Well, if we ever get like a million people calling for a Dikk! that can do remote networks with all the bells and whistles, we will do a proper VPN implementation. But for the moment, this is a simple Bonjour toy to mess around the local network.

Works fine. It basically sends a screenshot of your screen or active window to your co-worker. It would be nice to be able to send a note along, because I still have to shout my question or comment across the office.

Very simple but it works.

Still having to shout across the room is the whole idea :)

Dikk is a word in Romanii language (the Gypsy dialect most spoken around the world), and it means: Hey, check this out!

The app just means to save on desk-to-desk traffic :)

Dikk! takes this monotonous and annoying bit of physical exercise away, leaving the pure fun and utility of these shared inputs.

There are a few simple options, like F2 lets you send the screen capture to only the users you select, and F3 will allow you to choose between the capture screen area: active window, entire screen, selected window.

Dikk! can also run in Silent mode (incoming transmissions are not displayed on the screen, but sent directly to the transmission history) and there are a few additional preferences for your comfort.

Dikk is an actual word in Romanii language, spoken by most Gypsies around the world. The approximate translation is: Hey, check this out!
