I agree. I want a demo. Even if I can use it only once; even if it self-destructs in 10 minutes. I don't pay if I can't test drive something.

While competition is the backbone of capitalism... I should mention this freeware application : http://bowtieapp.com/ Lots of GUI skins to change the look - does almost all of the things you'd expect of a itunes controller. ...and did I mention freeware ?

This should have a free demo and be Universal. Please developer, if you can write an app like this you can click a few buttons and make this Universal. And since this is a $5 product it should certainly have at least a limited demo for $5 less. IMO.
