Apple DVD Player 2.7 is a software-only DVD player. This version is an update for Mac OS 9.0.4 only. It is not compatible with the DVD hardware found in the Power Mac G3, PowerBook G3, and Power Mac G4 (PCI graphics) series computers. Please refer to the "Hardware Required" field before downloading and installing this update.

I have the version 2.6 on my iBook, and it works fine, using OS 9.1. But do i need to update to the dvd player 2.7 version?

Does this means that if I have OS 9.1 installed, I don't need to update my dvd player from 2.4 to this version of 2.7. Please let me know guys... Thanx!!!

OK, whoever posted the previous review is either a crackhead or retarded. They give it the lowest ratings and yet they say, "this is good." Well it is good and of course it is free, so why did you give it bad ratings?
