InDesignProxy... There's a common problem on Mac OS X when there are multiple versions of Adobe(R) InDesign(R) or Adobe(R) InCopy(R) installed on the same computer. Double-clicking an .indd file's icon will often cause the wrong version of InDesign to launch. LB InDesignProxy fixes the problem by working as a 'stand-in' for InDesign or InCopy. You can drag/drop any .indd file onto the LB InDesignProxy application, and LB InDesignProxy will analyze the dropped document and then automatically forward it to the appropriate version of InDesign or InCopy.
What's New
Version 1.0.7:

Fixes an issue where InDesignProxy would change the 'last modified' date of any InDesign documents it 'touched', which throws a spanner in the works for people whose workflow depends on accurate 'last modified' dates.

Requirements
Intel/PPC, Mac OS X 10.4.x or later, Two or more different versions of Adobe InDesign CSx or InCopy CSx

This is rather ridiculous -- why not just drag the InDesign file on top of the desired InDesign.app (CS, CS2, CS3, CS4) that you have placed in the Dock?

The problem is that on a Mac you cannot see what version of InDesign was used to create the file.

Imagine you are a designer with a few versions of InDesign installed. Some of your customers are using CS2, some use CS3, some use CS4. You receive a customer file.

What you don't want to do is to open the file in a higher version of InDesign than your customer has - because when you update the file and send it back, your customer won't be able to open the updated file.

So you need to know what version of InDesign was used to create the file, and open in the same version.

The suggestion above is not helpful - which icon should you drag it on? InDesignProxy detects the document version and opens it in the proper application version.
