There are two separate ways to view Modena: the normal mode, which is a floating, tiny window, and then Fullscreen mode, perfect for presentations, class-room tests, and many more timed tasks. You can also choose to hide the window altogether, and only notify you when the timer has reached 0, which works well when you need to focus on a task without distraction.
