Looks like development on this is dead and it's never worked for me.

Recommend Dictionary Editor 1.3.0 instead.

Still works OK on 10.8.2 but you can edit the dictionary in ~/Library/Spelling/LocalDictionary very easily with Text Edit.

Oops, my above comment was meant for Dictionary Editor 1.3.0 but as both this app and Dictionary Editor are no longer under development it's good to get familiar with editing your dictionary file manually.

Nice, but why not edit the basic way (clicking the selected text the typing).

Fantastic - one last thing it needs to make it 'perfect': sort the list contents alphabetically (as an option, of course - it's still useful to go straight to the last word you entered if it was duff). That'd make my heart go ping...

Rsmacupdate had trouble on 23 Dec 2010
The listed Developer Website is non-existant as of 20101223. I can't see any correspondence or updates since August 2008 so I am wondering if the developer is still around.

This doesn't work on PPC. Though the listing says it does, I get an error stating that it does not work on PowerPC Macs.

Whoops, I used the wrong build settings for 1.0.1. The download link now points to a UB version of 1.0.1. I'll make sure all future versions are UBs as well.

Thanks.

Is this for a PPC or not? I was able to install the pref but when I open it, I get a blank panel. :(
