MAME_Tunes is a front-end application for MAME OS X/MacMAME/SDLMAME. ITunes-like easy operation.
*If you don't know MAME, this app is not useful for you.

Most helpful

I had a hard time setting this up. It is a great idea but it just didn't work out. It just said that my Roms weren't recognized after importing.

Version 4.0.3 can't find my ROM's even though it's pointed in the correct folder. OS X 10.8.1.

Kudos for the update. The question remains : when can we expect a update for Mame OSX or MacMame? Pretty essential I guess.

Mame OSX and MacMame are probably never going to be updated again. Mac users have moved on to SDL MAME. Yes, it's a pain to install, but it's not as bad as it used to be. First, install the SDL Framework. http://www.libsdl.org/download-1.2.php Next, download the SDLMAME binary from here: http://sdlmame.parodius.com/ Finally, install MAME_Tunes and go into its preferences. There, you'll need to point to wherever you put your SDL MAME, your Roms folder, etc. MAME_Tunes comes with a readme; follow its instructions and you should be up and running. Good luck and Godspeed!

I STILL can't import any Roms. Very difficult and confusing application.
