When run, 1.0.3 immediately checks and asks if you want to upgrade to Gluestick64 (1.1), the 64 bit version.

Pretty straight-forward and simple to use little app.
Now saves in both gluestick formats and exports to some image formats, as well as .icns.

Some aspects of the UI could be slicked up a little (e.g. choosing a zoom % doesn't take effect until you click in the content area).

Generally overpriced.

I love shareware developers. Half of them never test out their creations and just spit them out to the world expecting rave reviews and payment.

This gluestick is one of the worst. Not only is there NO .icns export, but the drop shadow feature is never retain, and that feature alone is hard to get created in that you can never create a corner shadow it's either dropped to the sides or the top/bottom of the icon no matter what attributes you type in. and to insult us they want $25!

Just spend more $$ and get IconBuilder, way better and much more though out...

Create simple Web graphics. Easily resize graphics. Gluestick provides a quick and easy way to handle the common image needs of the average user.

Easy Mac OS X Icon Creation... Included with Gluestick are templates to assist in the creation of Mac OS X icons. Use templates for one click creation of icons, and also use Gluestick's preset image libraries to browse for images to add to your icon. Create your own custom image libraries to manage your existing assets.

First Class OS X Interface... Mac OS 10.5 Leopard introduces a new feature called Core Animation. Core Animation allows programs to take advantage of rich and smooth animated interfaces. Gluestick is one of the first programs to leverage CoreAnimation. Your entire composition animates as you build it. Layers fade into position as you add them. Images slide into place as you move them. Watch the effects you apply to your images animate as you change them.

CoreAnimation provides more capabilities than just a pretty workspace. Because Gluestick renders your composition in CoreAnimation, your composition will be created on your computer's graphics card. This ensures a snappy user experience. In addition, image effects are applied using Apples CoreImage API, which is also accelerated using your computers graphics card.
