Quite good -- especially for the price. The AI is purdee adequate, albeit does not exactly simulate human behavior. It does make for competitive play, however. In using the current version, I find that if I login to the online game site via the game, that I can't quit PokerTH from the menu, but must force quit it (this while just in the lobby, i.e. not in the middle of a game). This strikes me a s bug.

What's in a name? The "TH" in the name stands for Texas Hold'em. That's the only poker game this apps plays. Just a heads up for everyone, since I didn't see any mention of Texas Hold'em in the description.

If you're looking for a simple poker program that you can play with friends online or over a network, this is your program. With so many of the online poker sites offering their "free software" to lure you into playing for real money, it is virtually impossible to find a good program for playing online with friends. This program is great, has all the options you need, and is quick and easy to set up and get playing. I may even try hosting a tournament at my house with everyone on a networked laptop. No more dealing!! :) The AI on this game is a little weak, but for network/online play, you can't beat this program, or the price!
