Game with bouncing balls and bricks.

Overview

Spring Up! is a game with realistic physics where you experience bouncing balls and bricks. Clear the 72 levels of 12 worlds by launching balls on color-matching elements. Try to use the blow of the fans, therebounds of the bumpers, the teleporters and various dynamic items to guide the balls. Once you hit the pegs, you still have to catch them using a user-controlled paddle to get more points. Many power-ups can help you by upgrading your paddle or increasing your score multiplier. Using credits won by making big plays and combos, you can buy around 50 upgradables items for your own customizable garden, such as trees, statues, fountains, flowers and much more! Upload your hiscores on Internet and compare your points and accuracy to other players.

Nice, relaxing little game. You shoot a colored ball from the launcher on top, and that ball breaks loose all the color matched objects standing, hanging, or railroading around. Those free objects can break loose yet more in the same color, but it all eventually bounces and slides down to your catch bucket at the bottom, which you mouse side to side to catch all the goodies. A shot that doesn't break loose any field pieces resets your bonus multiplier, this seems to be the only obstacle the game puts against you. Keeping the big points rolling will take bank shots, timed sniping, and a little planning to keep your options open. The graphics are clean and simple, and the animation runs perfectly on my Intel MacBook (integrated graphics). Controls are simple, point and click with the guidance of a ballistic line. The game has relaxing music, standard fare for any puzzler. There are no enemies, crucial obstacles, or game over screens in Spring Up. To some, this might sound pointless, but I was caught for the full length of the demo.
