Stomp overview

Stomp is a video re-compressor that makes the job of finishing off videos easy. It lets you compress a video and make it much smaller on disk, resize the video (known as cropping) and scale the video (either up or down). You can also add effects to the video - for example, decreasing its brightness.

Captured video can now be converted from any QuickTime format to any other utilizing the same preset model as found in iShowU. Get your videos ready the easy way!

Cannot even convert a video contener without re-encoding … No support For 10 bucks less better use iFFMPEG that does more and better with support.

It’s annoying when a developer can’t be bothered to put the version number somewhere, anywhere in the app. If it helps, shinywhitebox, the convention is to put it in the file’s "Get Info" and the app's "About" fields. Duh.

Too many failed attempts...can't handle many file formats. Just use HandBrake witch is FREE an much better.

This product is shockingly good - especially for such an early version. It's still a beta and you can't buy it as of this writing, but it fills a great need. It is similar to Handbrake, but Stomp transcodes *any* video file that QuickTime can read, rather than just DVDs. Capabilities are not quite as robust as FFMpegX but the interface is vastly superior. Also, the processing speed is quite fast. Looks like a very promising app.

Very Very Very Good Aplication! I have downloaded, tested and everything went O.K. GUI is very nice, presets and filters extremely usefull. Crop feature is nice, and all in all, I cannot find any bug. Two thums up!!!
