TubeSight1.0.2

19 June 2008

Create videoblogs, upload them to YouTube and more.

Overview

TubeSight (formerly vlogsnapz.producer) is the only application you need to videoblog on the Mac. Complete all your tasks in minutes with TubeSight's powerful yet easy-to-use interface. TubeSight is designed to accommodate both beginner and pro alike. Beginners use "tasks" to be guided through all the actions needed to record and upload to the service of your choice. Pros use a professionally designed interface to record and navigate through clips.

Either way, TubeSight has all the features you need. Apply over 100 live effects while recording. Quickly adjust your image using an iPhoto-esque adjust window. Post-process your clips to add titles. Record in the format of your choice. Upload to almost a dozen services, including youtube, vimeo, blip.tv, dailymotion, and others. All this in one convenient, easy-to-use app. Requires an Intel Mac, Mac OS X Tiger or Leopard, and QuickTime 7.

*Note: TubeSight, formerly "vlogsnapz.producer", was originally released 9.3.2007. The developer's name was also changed from Vlogsnapz to Mind Sprockets. This explains why I had difficulty (at first) finding reviews outside of MU.com. I had to search based on the original product name: http://www.google.com/search?q=vlogsnapz.producer+Vlogsnapz+%7Ereview I am disappointed that there is *NO* detail about what this product does at the developer's site. I do not have time to download it to figure out what it does. A screencast video of some of the major "live effects" being applied to a video would be really helpful and time-saving. Q: Can these effects be applied to prerecorded videos or only to live sessions? [that would be nice] A: ??? If you're looking for a good product (that's easy to use) to create quick videos I recommend iShowu: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/20987/ishowu (Version 1.0.2)

It would be nice if the developer provided a Universal, or PPC version. Contacted the developer, but no reply. :(
