Select and print anything on your screen instantly.

Overview

With Print It!, if you can see it, you can print it -- and a whole lot more! And Print It! is amazingly easy to use and never gets in your way. And Print It! is fast -- very fast. Simply put, Print It! expands the printing capabilities of OS X.

  • Print It! lets you instantly select and print anything you can see on your monitor, and this includes any combination of text, pictures, and graphics -- literally, anything.
  • Print It! provides WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) printing and includes support for previewing your print job.
  • Print It! also works with the Finder, so it's easy to create Finder lists of anything and print them -- even with your own customized notes added.
  • Print It! lets you add notes and/or time-date stamps to anything you print, including your pictures and graphics.
  • Print It! lets you -- even on the fly -- create print jobs by automatically combining virtually an unlimited number of selections from anywhere and then printing them together. Additionally, you can add notes and/or time-date stamps to your selections individually and/or to your print job as a whole.
  • Print It! lets you select and grab whatever info you need from anywhere, including databases, spreadsheets, Web pages, email, AOL, online chats, newsreaders, word processors, PIMs, calendar/appointment programs, Quicken and other financial software, widgets, and virtually anything else -- you name it!
  • Print It! lets you instantly create subreports from FileMaker, Quicken, Excel and literally any other program by allowing you to collect and combine just the info you are looking for -- even across multiple applications. (You even can add your own notes and time-date stamps to your collected data/subreports.)
  • Print It! has been tested with Virtual PC and works fine with it, too.
  • Print It! is a powerful tool for collecting any type of data when doing any type of research, whether for school, work, or personal use.
  • Print It! protects your data by providing you with the option of automatically saving it so you can continue working with your print project at a later time.
  • Print It! also saves you money because it eliminates wasting ink/toner and paper printing material you don't need and because it makes you more productive when using your computer.
  • And Print It! includes many additional features to make your life easier and more productive when using your Mac!

30 Large for something that is and always has been free? You can buy Graphic Converter 6.4 for 35.00 and it will do this and a thousand other things. Simply make a DTP "Desktop Picture" of your desktop, then just print the .jpg or whatever type of file you save ie: .png etc.. For NewBee's who don't know how to make a DTP /.jpg you simply hold "Shift, Apple and then it the number 3" and you will hear a camera sound of a photo clicking. It saves the .jpg photo on my desktop. Then you can crop the photo or whatever you want and just print it. I use the DTP a lot when there are flash file photos that will not download. I just take the DTP photos and then crop the photos & re-size them. And it's free.

I tried the application after watching a demo video by the developer. The advantage over regular printing is, that it lets you select a specific area and only print that area. The advertising mentions lower printing costs due to not printing ads on websites and other unnecessary material. But the fundamental difference between standard printing and this screenshot approach, is that 1. the background is printed, which might be grey or eveb black, causing unnecessary costs and 2. all crisp vector type is pixeled and way below print quality. Both were not obvious from a demo video by the developer I had seen because the websites happened to have white background etc. The question is, do you want to pay $30 for printing a screenshot or just take a screenshot and print it? The advise the application gives you, on what size (in %) you should print the image is sold as a feature but you can just use the auto fit function of OS X's print dialog. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems a bit expensive to me.

This is most horrid looking, convoluted piece of software lost in a DOS world contraption I've seen in a long time. As a previously registered owner (yes, I'm ashamed of the fact) of another app of this programmer's software I can tell you that it never worked correctly, the upgrade fees are ridiculous and the registration fees are ridiculous. Burn me once, shame on you, burn me twice shame on me. Look at something like Chronos' StickyBrain if you want your money's worth.
