hello,
business was rude, gave up. On the creative side of life i was dreaming of movie script and writing : inspired by poetry, I made it to my first publication : second could be a novel -tough work by year end, on scrivener ;-) -wonderfull peace, yes ! - and hopefully filmscripting with scriv or celtic / TOON BOOM is just like "another dream" for freelance poets :-) cheers and greetings from paris

EASE of USE
1-no need for story board artist
2-abillity to save and reuse storyboard elements through many changes to the working script
3- adding notes to each panel of the board. (Wonderful for cues to other professionals working on show)
4-easy collaboration between all those involved!
5-Makes one of the most difficult aspects of film making so much easier
6- Price for the professionals who need this program, is extremely reasonable.

Other than the price it looks like an excellent compliment for some of the face to face RPGs. It might be worth a look.

As a once in a while hobbyist, this is over and above what I need. I wonder how many people would go for a $50 lite version though ...

As a Technology Support Specialist/"Mac Guru" for a local school district, I was asked to research and recommend a product in this class that would be best suited for our needs, especially in the higher end video classes. The product had to be usable and functional. By far, I found this program to be what the doctor ordered: it is what I recommended, and after thoroughly checking it out, it is what we bought.

Actually, this really does look like a powerful tool. I do a lot with podcasting, videos, and story-outlines, and the visual tools this program has could improve my work-flow significantly. I'm taking a serious look at this!

I'm more of an artist than a writer so I just tested the built in tools for sketching. The tools are rudimentary but I really like the 'draw behind' option. A quick way to avoid having to flip through layers. It worked nicely with my wacom tablet as well. No lag in response time to my strokes which made sketching very pleasurable.
Browsing the menus I found I could find and navigate the options intuitively. Looks like a very worthwhile program. It's way above my price range and needs, but it looks like a truly professional program (the pro version notwithstanding ; ) )

This app would be really helpful to students in video and animation. Its still a bit pricey for this student, though. I just finished Video Production 1 (I'm not a video student, though, I am web design and could still use it) and the storyboards we did were all hand drawn. This app would have given us better creative control and helped the class and teacher see our vision more clearly.
