These are nice, thanks. How about an icon for the 'volume' item?

This is a great piece of eye candy for my mac. Since I am into eye candy, I use ShapeShifter. Unfortunately ShapeShifter defaults these icons when a theme is applied. The default Aqua works fine though. Can anybody point me in the right direction on how to fix this? Thanks

I will address these issues in future updates, as they are ready. YOU are responsible for YOUR files, I cannot post, nor should you download anyone else's files, for they may not be compatible with your system. These files vary greatly with each system as they are installed onto your system, i.e. Intel vs. PPC, they are different files all together. Thanks for your feedback.

nice nice... I like the green battery since its more "mac" than the original, and the Airport icon. But you should have one battery icon for "connected power supply" cheers and thank you for these pretty little things.

Great stuff. I always thought the menu extras needed color. Any chance for an alternate volume icon? The megaphone isn't really my style. Thank you for your work!

I like the look, but got lost trying to convert. Too much mucking around for a sissy like me. Thanks for brightening up the menu bar for others though.

Nice enhancement for the menu bar. I've found when upgrading to the latest version that my battery/power icon no longer displays the lighting bolt when plugged in.

In one single word beautiful - living outside the US, my world is still very iPhoneless but nevertheless the colorization makes a happier menubar to look at - though I like the older airport and battery replacements better and therefore don't bother to download this update. Dunno if it has changed in v1.1, but the earlier release contained english-only menu extras (the graphic files could of course still be installed into the existing packages, but I suggest it should be mentioned in the read me - sorry if it is already).

I love it! Looks great.. I would just prefer the 'classic' airport look... Anyway, works and looks very good. Keep up the good work!

Pretty indeed but now my Airport Menu does not work. That is, clicking on the new pretty icon does nothing.

I believe that this version goes over the top in making the Menu Bar pretty. I installed 1.0.6 (or 1.0.7 depending on which docs you read) and that added the Volume icon to Airport, Battery and iSync. All of that is working fine and was a fairly simple install. That's enough for me and I don't even use Volume control. 1.0.9 is just more iPhone than I need on my MBP.

For all those who've been having problems, your best bet is to login as the root user and replace the files that way. That way you're not having to do any authentication, and permissions will not be screwed up afterwards. I had a problem with the Airport menu not dropping down on both a PowerBook and MacBook Pro, both running 10.4.10, and logging in as root, and "installing" the new extras that way fixed everything.

And what is with the trend of people posting icon makeovers like this? At the very least post it as a patch to the original menu extra, and perform some integrity checks. Distributing a copy of the whole extra is going to cause inevitable version mismatches and breakage. I can't wait until people screw up their Leopard installations with crap like this in a couple months... Looks like it's already happening with PPC vs Intel. This goes for all other programs that see fit to wholesale replace things they have no business replacing, including other "color menu extras" offerings, and Aqua4iTunes.

I'd love to see the display menu added as well. I have a MacBook Pro that I use in many situations. Nice job, by the way.

These look great, kudos to the developer. I can't get the Airport drop down menu after installing these icons on my iMac G5 (Rev.A) running 10.4.10. Is there likely to be a fix for this?

This is a great "little" add-on to my ever-growing menubar!!! Looks the business! Oh, and just a little thing: Do u have any plans to extend your colored menu extras like Segling Clicker, Caffeine, Nokia Multimedia Center, etc? Again, congrats on the great work !

Why not just go all the way and create icons for all of the menu bar items such as Fax,Displays,Eject,Modem etc...?
