Solve the four basic elements of Ohm

## Overview

Ohm's Law & Power Formula Calculator is a program that allows you to solve the four basic elements of Ohm's Law and Power Formula's (voltage, current, resistance, and power).

Features:

• OLAPFC solves for voltage, current, resistance, and power.
• Context sensitive information is available by placing the mouse over each of the individual fields.
• A listing of the Ohm's Law and Power formulas are available by placing your mouse over the logo. Perform multiple side-by-side comparisons.
• Universal binary for both PPC and Intel Mac systems.

NOTE: OLAPFC only solves Ohm's Law and Power Formula's as they pertain to DC circuitry at this time. In the future, AC circuitry may be addressed.

One information is missing concerning this software: All result are for continous current (VDC) For alternative current (VAC), it is not the same!

If you talk RMS they are the same.

about rms: that's wrong 'cause there is phase shift and reactive power. this program isn't very useful... anybody who knows the meaning of power, resistance, voltage and current knows how to calculate them and should be able to multiply and divide...

I understand that from the perspective of a person educated in basic algebra should have no problem deriving the proper values from such equations as used in Ohm's Law. But that my friend is the joy of computers - to do the math for us so we don't have to. Sure - it's laziness and complacent - but so is using a calculator in general. You have pencil and paper - so work it out. The joy of this program lies in its simplicity. It solves those values for you and allows you to perform side-by-side comparison. Sure, you can do it the hard way - by thinking - but we assume you've already learned and understood the principles of Ohm's Law and Power Formula's, so sit back, relax, and let you mind worry about greater things than calculating such trivial formulas - let your computer do it for you.
