Packet Ninja is a latency and connection monitor and test suite that, for now, sends a ping to a host to make sure that your connection is live or that the host is live. Graphs of ping performance are dynamically generated. It gives a good overall view of network stability. SMSes text messages can be configured to notify admins of changes in status.
