Track the availability of your VoIP device (LinkSys and Sipura).

Overview

VoIP Tracker Lite is a little application to help you track the availability of your VoIP device (LinkSys and Sipura).
It gives you a quick overview of your VoIP device status.

  • Icon colour - Icon colour will change depending of your device's status. Is your VoIP device correctly registered ? is the current call using VoIP or standard legacy phone line ?
  • Device settings - VoIP Tracker Lite will quickly tell you the network settings, the last registration time, the device runtime …
  • Current call status - Caller/Called number, codec in use, PSTN/VoIP call … all in one screen.
  • Quick reboot - Need to quickly reboot your device ? The Sipura/Linksys way is to remember a specific url or have it saved somewhere. The VoIP Tracker Lite way : you press a button … that's it !!

it's a pitty it won't work with PAP devices that are password locked. Most VOIP providers lock and provision the device directly. So I'm not sure what use this utility will be to most users.

I have a Sipura box. I ran the app, entered the IP address of the Sipura device and all I get is a window every 3-5 seconds that says: "Unable to find device..." Maybe the Sipura box is password protected by my VoIP provider and this app can't even log in?
