Traverso overview

Traverso is a free, cross platform multitrack audio recording and editing suite, with an innovative and easy to master User Interface. It's suited for both the professional and home user, who needs a robust and solid DAW.

Traverso is a complete solution from recording to CD Mastering. By supplying many common tools in one package, the user isn't forced to learn different applications who often have different ways to be controlled. This will lower the learning curve considerably and as a result, the user will be able to do his audio processing much quicker!

A unique approach to non-linear audio processing was developed for Traverso to provide extremely solid and robust audio processing and editing. Adding and removal of effects plugins, moving Audio Clips or creating new Tracks during playback is perfectly save, giving the user the opportunity to instantly get feedback on his work!

Changed ALSA device from "hw:0" to "default" (so the system configured one will be used!)
Move Magnetic Cut to [ R ] instead of [ XC ], fix integer overflow as well
Compile fixes when using system installed SLV2 lib
Various small fixes.

I don't get it. I downloaded the PPC version. I can't even get started. the manual is of no use to me. This need a simple interface I guess. I can't get any sound from my mic to go through the program. Had better luck with Audacity. I guess if I was an expert in recording software I could get this figured out. I normally can at least get a program to do the basics. I think this one needs work, I started a new file and called it a "test 1". I never could find out where it was. I just think this needs a quick start of some sort. The one in here is of no use. This program needs more work. Sorry guys.
