FLNewsBrowser overview

FLNewsBrowser is an application for accessing to news provided by NHK Radio Japan.

NHK Radio Japan broadcasts Japanese news in several different languages on the Web. It provides not only audio data, but also complete transcripts. So, this data is very useful for foreign language students; especially for improving their listening skills.

It's quite a nice application, however, is there any chance that it can access to nhk japanese news. I'm learning Japanese right now.

This is a great application. I plan on installing it ion our college language lab computers. With modifications, LiveDictionary can be used in conjunction with FLN, allowing for popup definitions in various languages. It would be great to see further development. The "show pinyin" and speed control are welcome recent developments. I would love a simple way of saving vocabulary terms into a lexicon or list for later review. For now, however, I'm very pleased with this.
