Blogging plugin for RapidWeaver.

Overview

RapidBlog is a RapidWeaver plugin that allows you to "Blog Anywhere".

The blog plugin built into RapidWeaver is great but it has the problem that you have to be at that specific mac with that specific file to add or modify posts.

Using RapidBlog you can edit/delete/add posts from any computer attached to the Internet using Blogger.com's Web interface.

What's new in RapidBlog

Version 2.06:
  • Smallish bug fixes
  • You can now control the 'summary' section from the Blogger Web interface! Just set the 'page jump' where you want the summary to end (see here)

I've been using RapidBlog for over six months now. For the most part, this software is top notch! The developer is awesome at answering questions and really listening to his customers. I had requested a certain feature and version 1.50b9 has it built-in! It just keeps getting better with each release and everytime Blogger makes changes, this developer is right on patching it.

Does what it sets out to do and makes the syncing with Blogger and RapidWeaver a very easy task.

Love it. It syncs perfectly -- so you can blog in either RapidWeaver or Blogger -- and works flawlessly, plus has many options.

I purchase this little ditty a few months ago since I really wanted to do more than what the built-in Blog Page could do. I'm rather a newbie at some of this internet stuff, so I was stymied for a very small bit. But, some patience and some trials, and voila!! I had this working! The Features are highly numerous and customizable. I guarantee you the value (only $14.95) is absolutely assured when you purchase this product. From my short experience in asking questions to the developer, I feel highly confident they are very passionate about their products (appropriately regular updates), and therefore one can safely assume you are purchasing the very best! Go for it - you'll love it! ~ Denny Crane

Tags and Tag Cloud would be nice. Page Inspector a tad large. Overall... very nice!

software doesn't work with most free servers, but you can download a trial to publish and see if it works with your server. developer is amazing! fantastic communication, and frequent updates. i would like to see js-kit comments\ratings integrated into the program as soon as possible, though... it beats the hell out of haloscan.

RapidBlog is superb. Now you are not tied to updating your blog with RapidWeaver alone. Simply log into your Blogger account from anywhere, create or edit a post, and its contents will be mirrored on your site!. The developer is also responsive and prompt with updates. Good stuff!
