cd to overview

cd to is a fast mini-application that opens a Terminal.app window with the path set to the frontmost Finder window. This app is designed to be placed in the Finder window's toolbar. It's written in Objective-C and uses Apple Events, which makes it much faster than AppleScript applets that do the same thing. Support has been added for iTerm and xterm. It is shell agnostic, and works with bash, fish, or tcsh.

Very handy! I missed it when Lion was first released and my old version was incompatible; glad to have it back! As a programmer/data munger, I spend a lot of time in the Terminal, and it's very nice to be able to navigate through a complex set of directories in Dropbox or what have you, then press a button and instantly be in a Terminal window at that directory. It's the little things in life that help so much.

This is almost perfect, the one problem is that it doesn't work with Spaces. :-(

Very useful when you need to jump in and out of a terminal. I use it when I need to do diffs or run a python script etc.

Pretty neat... works as advised - Since I'm using the Terminal almost every day, it's really useful to me :)

Easy to use, does what it claims, makes life easy for those of us who do not live in the Terminal.app but need to jump in occasionally.

I dig this, especially added to the Finder toolbar. It would be nice to have the option to specify a command that runs after clicking... like ls -l, for example.

I've tried to correct this in the default case in 2.1. But it's really hard to figure out if the window was just created by the terminal.app, but i think i came up with a way to do it, but it only works if you haven't changed your default shell settings too much.
