Graveyard overview

Graveyard... This free utility helps Mac users to delete any file: drag a file (also a group of files/folders) and Graveyard deletes it/them.

Warning: Graveyard is more powerful than you think, it deletes all files/folders without putting them in the trash. Graveyard deletes original file instead of alias!

Scenario: I have a networked media tank. For whatever reason, the files I chose to delete would just sit in the trash can. The finder said it would empty. It even acknowledged the files were there. But it failed to empty through any means I tried. Taking Action: A download of Graveyard and dropping it into the applications folder, and after the first attempt to drop the files directly on the app, and the files were completely deleted. Result: Smiles all around, and a 5 Star Rating. Many thanks for a useful app that does exactly what it says.

I really like this app - BUT - I am not gonna use it anymore. I know its free but I want to have it work fast and easy. I give it real ease of use, but if I have to click ( when its done deleting ) if I want to visit the authors website or do not want to visit it I am clicking more than need be and its annoying as he** I am back to deleting via short cuts and then using another shortcut to empty the trash

Cool! It seems always hungry :D For those who couldn't make it work: First drag the icon from Applications folder to Dock to keep it permanently in the Dock. Then drag file(s)/folder(s) on it. Just a Black Hole :D

I have been looking for this app for months, ever since switching from Windows and discovering one of the few things missing from OS X is an easy way to delete files (by that I mean removing them from the disk, not just moving them to the trash). Graveyard is simplicity - add it to the dock and/or the Finder toolbar, drag a file onto the icon, and it's gone.
