Works as promised - thanks!

Might be confusing to some folks because there isn't a GUI or confirmation dialogue; perhaps a simple on/off switch would be in order.

I rarely use Dashboard, and when I do, I want to quit it when I'm done. I don't want to leave it running in the background (the default behaviour), as I've found that Dashboard sometimes goes berserk and starts burning up my CPU.

Kill Dashboard makes it easy to, well, kill Dashboard. It's a handy app (it comes in both flavours - an app and an Automator workflow) that does exactly what it says it will do. One click and you're done. What's not to like?
