Gothic science fantasy rogue-like game.

Overview

Warp Rogue is a gothic science fantasy roguelike game. It features RPG-like game mechanics, recruitable NPCs, and a consistent theme.

What's new in Warp Rogue

Version 0.8b:

Rewritten AI from scratch.
New RNG.
Improved pathfinding algorithm.
Mac OS X: Port working again.
Fixed crash after kill bug.
Reduced enemy patrol speed.
Remus lacked the Unique attribute. Fixed.
General Guderian now offers the Iron gate mission until you *really* reject it.
Environment of Mephisto's Fortress fixed.
Tactical commands fixed.
Recover no longer produces a message.
Linux: Port no longer ships with SDL.

If you liked Rogue (old timers) or the Mac conversion, Angband, then you will like this SciFi update. The problem is it crashes frequently on my 2GHz iMac G5 (1 GB RAM, OS 10.4.8). Frequently enough to make it unplayable. Which is too bad. Hopefully an update will address this. I'm no programmer, but would help test it.

Yes, unfortunately there is a critical bug in version 0.7.2.. >Hopefully an update will address this. I'm no programmer, but would help test it.
