Wouldn't it just be better to save your Flash to Adobe Air? Isn't that what Air is for?

I hate desktop apps written in Java but at least Java is better suited vice Flash. WTF is the dev thinking?

So it's a REALbasic program that sticks flash movies into a template application which, presumably is also made with Real Basic. Though I didn't get a chance to dig that deeply into it because well, the program is just too painful. * Build times are slow on a 2GHz G5 * the preview insists on auto-playing in the background and you have to bring it to the front to shut it off. * the toolbar is just a row of buttons that changes the tabs for you, what a waste! * The price is about how much you would pay for REAL Basic anyway. You could easily set up a template project to accomplish most of what Zinc does. This seams like a get-rich-quick scheme if I ever heard one. All that being said; The silly thing can't even be run from the locked disk image it is distributed on! It throws a nil object exception. Which makes me wonder how well the designers really thought this one out.
