Pif-Splitter can cut large files into smaller pieces so you can save the data on different media types like CDs, DVDs, USB keys and more. For example, you can split a disk image of 8GB into four different 2GB files. Then use Pif-Splitter to put them back together.

Is there a version for windows? Because i'm gonna Split the files in mac and copy them into DVD and install them into my PC.

The main reason I would need to use this is to back up original DV video files onto DVD-Rs. This means the file size for split should be 4489MB, significantly larger than this can handle. Why the very odd cap size?

Why is the maximum Mb 2100? That isn't very convenient for DVDs.
