SurfRabbit has potential for improving my browsing experience but hasn't quite reached a certain "comfort zone" where I'll commit to using it and send a donation. Some of the issues, mostly interface/usability-related: • Customizations aren't applied to pages opened in background tabs. Switching to the tab and refreshing the page is only a short-term workaround. • Briefly: performance factors and possible font size problems affecting uncustomized pages. • The Customizations tab would behave more intuitively if "Page Title" and "Apply settings to" fields were filled when a single item is selected with a mouse click and when moving between items with up/down arrow key navigation. Always having to double-click for those details is inefficient. • In the Customizations tabs, some way to easily distinguishing between personal customizations and those added from the Rabbits tabs would be useful. Also, some indication of whether a customization uses Advanced Settings without clicking the button. And selecting a column header doesn't sort the column although that's been unimportant so far. • The column view organization/navigation in the Rabbits tab makes it harder to discover new contributions. And there's no way at all to know if/when they've changed. Minimally, date added/modified and version compatibility info would be helpful. Personally, I'd prefer a simpler design that includes searching. [SurfRabbit 1.1; Safari 2.0.3 (417.9.2)]

Very nice! Apart from what is already stated in other comments, the thing that's lacking is a ruleset to filter away some ads. I cant seem to add a rule without first going to the page I want to change. Other than that (I just given it 20 minutes so far), it'll probably make me throw away pithhelmet as it makes safari unstable on pages with JS on.

Excellent piece of software makes browsing news sites so much nicer on the eyes for you don't have to put up with advertising anymore.

" Customizations aren't applied to pages opened in background tabs. Switching to the tab and refreshing the page is only a short-term workaround. Briefly: performance factors and possible font size problems affecting uncustomized pages." If there are specific problems you've encountered then you should report it to us (the developer) directly; posting this here doesn't provide any information or enough details for us to determine a problem (given that we've not seen/had this reported yet), let alone reproduce it. Please also make sure you've read the Troubleshooting section of SurfRabbit's Help guide first. " The column view organization/navigation in the Rabbits tab makes it harder to discover new contributions. And there's no way at all to know if/when they've changed." There's already a way to determine new contributions: whenever the list is updated and there are new additions, "Newest Additions" will appear as the last item in the first (leftmost) column. This will list only the newest contributions since the last time the list was loaded on your computer.

Pretty nifty. It would be really fantastic if the menu could be buried (like PithHelmet) because with SafariStand installed, it's getting a little crowded up there. Thanks a bunch for writing this!
