I applaud the effort, but you can do this already simply by saving the email right from Mail. Show contents on the saved file and you see a folder containing the rich text file (the text of the email) and all the images associated with the email.

Thank you. I just made this when I wished I had a way to turn my iChat logs (logged by Chatalog) in RTF files. The main idea of Mail Message to RTF is to create an automated way to do this, not by searching a service menu or manually using the clipboard (as Mail Message to RTF copies and pastes the message to and from the clipboard)
