It's great to see independent developers dedicated to create decent games for Mac OS X. MacJoy, from Sweden, is one of these companies that have a lot of talent going for them. They remind me of a fledgling FreeVerse--they create very stylized games that are twists of already popular games. MacJoy has to start from somewhere, and they have a lot of potential!
I downloaded three of their trial versions of various games, and find most of them very entertaining. So far, Pirates of Treasure Island is our family's favorite: they made a simple icon matching game into a Pirate theme, that at times can be quite intense: you shoot ships, raid castles, trek through jungles by matching certain coins! But, wait! There's more..!
The trial version is only 30 minutes long, but we have unzipped the file to play it again and again! The playability--the returning for more--is very high. The graphics are clean; some of the music appropriate. On a Mac Mini, I haven't had a problem with the trail version at all.
