This is an OK program. The only issue I have with it is that there's no way of changing the box-like shape to it and there's no easy way to quit the program other than going into Activity Monitor and killing the daemon.

I'd recommend GrowliChat in the meantime as it offers more flexibility as to where the notification appears, the shape of the notification, and an easy way to turn off/on notifications. But it's still not a bad start.

i think there is a problem with your version of iChatMonitor : normally there should be a menu in the menu bar with "/!" icon, and with this menu, a simple form to quit the app :)
