This is a REALLY handy tool if you use a wireless router. Sometimes my router craps out on me, but I have to open Firefox a couple of times before I realize what's wrong. And as the developer mentions, its really awesome if you want use wireless hotspots, cuz it give you an automatic readout of what is going on with the connection. I like it a lot. But you know what I like the most, it only uses 400k of memory. It has the smallest memory footprint of anything on my mac. That's great. Hey developer, I'd love to see you make a docklet that shows upload/download KB/s (so i can close my bittorrent window or whatever, but still see the speed while i'm surfing the net). Great job. A+

im going to go out on a limb here and say that i acutally LIKE this program

small, unintrusive, very useful. my 12" powerbook lags way too much to pull up the dashboard everytime id want to check my network connection, so having this in the dock is perfect. great work!

Placed in the dock, it does nothing but report "ERROR." No matter which target site is selected and no matter how many times it is clicked, right-clicked, double-clicked, and cussed at, it doesn't send any pings or do anything at all.

This appears to be a one-trick pony that can't even do its one trick. I guess it's "stable" since it consistently does nothing.
